Inkless is designed to comply with ESIGN and UETA in the US and eIDAS in the EU/UK. Each signed PDF includes a tamper-evident audit trail with timestamps, IPs (where collected), and event history.
All documents are stored in company-scoped locations, transmitted over TLS, and backed by signed audit trails. You can enable OTP/2FA on signing, and reminders/links are tokenized per recipient. We also support optional IP allowlisting for admin areas.
Yes. You can add multiple recipients and define routing order (sequential) or allow parallel signing. Each recipient gets a unique secure link.
Yes. You can save documents with pre-placed fields and roles as templates, speeding up repeat agreements.
Yes. Use the REST API to create envelopes, upload documents, place fields, and generate signing links. Webhooks notify you on opens, signatures, failures, and completion.
You can enable automated email reminders for recipients. The system queues reminders and enforces throttles (at most once per 24 hours per recipient).
PDFs are preferred. We also accept Word and common image formats, converting them to PDF before signing.
Upload your logo and company name; recipient pages (verify/thank you) show your branding alongside “Secured by Inkless.”
Yes. You can enable OTP verification and optional location capture to enrich the audit trail. For stronger identity assurance, Inkless also offers per-recipient identity verification powered by DIDIT - signers must present a recognised photo ID and complete a live camera check before signing. Results are recorded in the audit trail and included in the court-ready bundle. Identity verification is available as an add-on at £1 per recipient.
Supporting document requests allow the sender to ask each recipient to upload specific documents - such as proof of address, a bank statement, or photo ID - before they can complete signing. You label each request and choose whether it is required or optional. This is all configured from the document mapping view and removes the need for separate follow-up emails.

We charge per document/envelope with caps for multi-document envelopes. Packs are available for predictable costs, and credits do not expire unless specified.
Yes. You can export signed PDFs and audit trails. If you cancel, we can provide a data export on request in line with retention policies.
